Holiday homework: Math

1. Pupils are to re-do five sums a day. These sums are to be selected from CA1, SA1 and mock math exam papers. As the weakness is mostly in section C of the math paper, pupils are to place a blank paper of top of the particular working and re-do the item. Pupils can check to see if they have mastered the sum or still need to work on the math concept that they are weak in. (Discounting the weekends, pupils have 20 days to re-do five sums a day. That would add up to 100 sums if they seriously keep to the target of only 5 a day!) Those who did badly for math can use the holidays to level up.

2. Pupils are to do the practice sums in problemsums.com
Weaker pupils can do practice sums in P1, P2 or P3 and work their way up.
Parents can view their children's competency as there are stars awarded when a certain topic is mastered or a ceratin level is reached.
The userid and password is the same as the child's BC. Use only small letters of the alphabet. Do not use capital letters.
